The journey from our protective identity to our vulnerable but fulfilling essence is always a journey from living in fear to living courageously, but how does that change for adolescent characters and heroes of young adult fiction?

Hollywood script consultant and story expert Michael Hauge, best-selling author of Writing Screenplays That Sell and Selling Your Story in 60 Seconds: The Guaranteed Way to Get Your Screenplay or Novel Read, will present his approach to creating unique, multi-dimensional characters. He will show how uniting a character’s outer journey of accomplishment with an inner journey of transformation and fulfillment will greatly increase both the artistic achievement and the commercial success of your novels. By employing elements of wound, fear, belief, identity and essence, your stories will become more emotionally involving, more meaningful, and more reflective of your own personal vision.

MICHAEL HAUGE has presented seminars, lectures and keynotes in person and online to more than 300,000 participants worldwide. According to Will Smith, “No one is better than Michael Hauge at finding what is most authentic in every moment of a story.”
