In this 14th of my 17 Hollywood Tricks of the Trade series, I talk about the importance of HIGH STAKES.
A simple and effective way to think about high stakes is, the bigger the negative consequences to the hero if the hero fails to achieve the goal, the more emotionally involved and invested we’ll be in the hero’s journey and in the story as a whole.
