How It Works:

Prior to your session, Michael will review your answers to our questionnaire, which helps you identify the fundamentals of your story.

Then, during a private, 90-minute, 1-on-1 coaching session, Michael will work with you to establish every element of your perfect story:

  • A proven, 6-Step story structure
  • An opening setup that will transport your readers and audiences into the world you’re describing
  • An empathetic hero whom your audience will subconsciously become
  • A clear, visible goal that will captivate your audience
  • Increasingly overwhelming obstacles that will maximize the emotion of your story
  • A transformative Inner Journey that will connect with and inspire your audiences on a much deeper level
  • A powerful climax that your audience will celebrate
  • An aftermath that will embody your audience’s deepest desires

THE PROCESS:

  1. You’ll be provided with a detailed questionnaire, helping you hone in on the heart and spine of your story.
  2. Michael will review your completed questionnaire.
  3. You and Michael will meet for a 90-minute, 1-on-1 coaching session over Zoom.
  4. You will receive a video recording, audio recording, and transcript of your session, along with an AI summary of the entire meeting.
  5. Based on that first coaching session, you will either revise your story questionnaire, replace it with a 6-Step outline, or submit a written or recorded draft of your story.
  6. Michael will review this new version of your outline or story.
  7. You and Michael will meet again for a 30-minute follow-up session over Zoom to discuss your revised story and outline your next steps for presenting it on the page, stage or screen.
  8. BONUS SESSION WITH GREG: 30-60 days after your follow-up with Michael, you will have a 1-hour call with Michael’s lead story consultant, Greg Fortier, to discuss your progress and troubleshoot any snags you’ve hit during the writing process.
